Still Life

Still life paintings represent more than inanimate objects. The genre contains the word life. I bring vibrancy, energy and joy that I feel creating images through color and composition and tell a story with still life. The objects often capture a moment in time, a dinner table after the meal, favors from a New Year's Eve celebration, wine and sweets on a table. Paintings of eyeglasses, musical instruments, tools, and precious possessions can serve as a portrait for a commissioned work. I received a New York City Artist Corps Grant in August 2021 for a series of small still life paintings of vegetables, fruits and flowers that I created daily called #stayathome documented on YouTube. These paintings can start affordable collections of original art and are perfect unique gifts.
